If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

This 2022 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Murphy Lab Heavy Aged is a remarkably faithful recreation of one of the most revered electric guitars ever made. Finished in a custom selected Green Lemon Fade Heavy Aged nitrocellulose lacquer, it combines vintage correct construction with the unmistakable character of a well played original Burst.
The lightweight one piece mahogany body, hand selected figured maple top and comfortable 1959 Medium C neck provide a superb foundation for the pair of unpotted Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers, delivering articulate PAF inspired tones with plenty of warmth and dynamic response. This example remains in factory condition with almost zero fretwear and is currently set up with 10-46 strings. It has been checked and tested by the specialists at Andertons Guitar Gallery and plays wonderfully. Supplied with its original Lifton reissue hardcase, accessories and COA, this is a particularly compelling R9 for players and collectors alike.
