František Furch began building guitars in socialist Czechoslovakia in 1981, driven by a passion for creating high-quality acoustic guitars at a time when access to international instruments was extremely limited. Determined to match the tone, resonance and playability of the world’s most respected guitars, he set out to design instruments capable of delivering the shimmering highs, rich projection and responsive feel heard on countless classic recordings.
