Andertons Guitar Gallery are pleased to offer this beautifully presented Second-Hand Fender 1967 Bass VI, a fascinating and distinctive instrument with a rich history and unmistakable vintage character. Finished in its original factory 3 Tone Sunburst nitrocellulose finish, this Bass VI captures the unique voice and styling that made these instruments so sought after by adventurous players. This example has been exceptionally well cared for over the years and has recently been serviced by renowned luthier Huw Price, who has carried out a high-quality refret to ensure it is ready for many more years of playing.

The instrument remains highly original, including the original nut, tremolo arm and what appears to be its original black case with blue interior, believed to be the factory-supplied case. There are some small marks across the body and areas of lacquer checking on the neck, all consistent with an instrument of this age, while the neck finish has experienced very little wear. Andertons Guitar Gallery specialists have checked and tested this Bass VI, confirming it remains a fantastic example of Fender’s innovative baritone bass design, complete with the quirks and character that make vintage instruments so appealing.
