Enter the highly-anticipated Victory MK range. Designed by Kidd himself and hand-wired in the UK, the MK Clean & MK Overdrive represent a zero-compromise convergence of decades of amp design innovation, luxury craftsmanship, and pure guitar tone passion. The MK Clean is a 100W 6L6-powered amp head, hand-built to produce a distinct high-headroom sound that breaks up at just the right moment. Perfect for blues, country, and classic rock, the MK Clean is naturally a great match for pedals, with an expressive and articulate response to whatever it's connected to.
The amp features two voices, with Voice 1 aiming for a '50s character, and Voice 2 producing a more pronounced upper-mid range. This is complemented by an Accutronics long reverb tank, fitted upside down for a more characterful & clear decay. It's completed with a presence control, a bass switch, and a bright switch to further sculpt and customise depending on the guitar you're using.
The MK Overdrive brings 100W of 6L6 punch, this time aimed squarely at producing the most organic, responsive, and - when needed - aggressive overdriven & distorted tones. It features 2 channels: Clean and Overdrive. The high-headroom Clean channel has its own gain, presence, and resonance controls, with a voice switch that adds more upper-mid emphasis.
The Overdrive channel brings more punch, stepping more into heavy rock and metal territory. It features the same Presence and Resonance controls as the Clean channel, but this Resonance control also tames negative feedback at higher frequencies. The amplifier is completed by a Gain 1 and 2 switch for crunch or lead sounds, with an additional voice switch for further customisation of brightness and gain response.
