When Yamaha launched their desktop amplifier range in 2011, they hit on a need for a third amp to go alongside your rehearsal and gigging rigs. Designed to give guitarists an amp that they can easily utilise in space restricted areas, such as small rehearsal spaces, bedrooms or even hotel rooms.  All with the unmissable tones inspired by iconic clean and crunch from around the world.

Since the first THR5 and THR 10 the desktop amps have continued to develop. Now including up to 15 essential guitar amp voices, 3 bass amps and 3 mic models in the THR30. The range also boasts a rechargeable battery so you can take your amp anywhere.  Ideal for performers on the road who want to have amplification to hand, but don’t want to be lugging around a combo. Light weight and much smaller THR offers a real alternative.

The stylish looks of the THR also mean you can include the amp into your décor, and have a more subtle looking device, rather than just another speaker.  With the first THR Yamaha developed the concept of the third amp, and with the latest editions to the series they continue to serve the musicians needs, and desires for great sound quality on the go.
