Victory The Kraken Amps

The Kraken family is one of Victory’s most beloved and acclaimed family of amplifiers, catering for all shades of modern metal players. It has been designed with Victory artist Rabea Massaad and boasts an amazing roster of players such as Bill Kielher from Mastodon.

Ideal for all styles of Metal, these valve-amps has been designed to be at ease catering to extended range players and guitarists using lower tunings. All amplifiers in the family have two channels, one for classic British-inspired rhythm tones and the other for tight, aggressive searing American high-gain sounds. 

With the V1 overdrive pedal providing a selection of distortion sounds from the amp, the V4 preamp and V4 amplifier provide the two channels that are present on the main amplifiers. The V4 amp adds Two Notes DynIR presets created by Rabea Massaad, as well as a headphone output and Victory’s VRC mod to give you that real amp feel. The lunchbox and compact wooden sleeve versions of the VX Kraken now have a clean mode on Gain 1 further adding more versatility to this compact 50-watt amplifier. The Super Kraken adds more power and headroom, as well as MIDI integration, a preamp focus function (emulates Tube Screamer pedal) and more! Both the Compact and Deluxe Kraken heads are also available with EL34 or 6L6 power tubes, letting you choose between British or American voices respectively.
