Founded in 2006 by seasoned session musicians Chris Van Tassel and Jay Rockett, J. Rockett Audio Designs was born out of a passion for crafting the ultimate guitar effects pedals for musicians worldwide. With decades of experience in the recording industry, Chris and Jay were on a relentless quest for the perfect tone—a pursuit that existing market products couldn't satisfy.

Hand-built in the United States, J. Rockett Audio Designs offers a comprehensive range of tone-shaping tools. Among their most celebrated creations are the Archer, the .45 Caliber, and The Dude V2 pedals. 

The Archer is J. Rockett's homage to the legendary Klon Centaur overdrive pedal. Featuring germanium diodes, it meticulously captures every subtle nuance of the original unit's rich and transparent overdrive. This pedal delivers the iconic tones that made the Klon a must-have for guitarists seeking unparalleled clarity and warmth in their sound.

The .45 Caliber recreates the classic overdriven sound of the 1962 Marshall JTM 45 amplifier. Inspired by the crunchy rhythm tones of AC/DC’s Malcolm Young and the electrifying performances of Pete Townshend during "Live at Leeds," this pedal offers powerful, face-melting overdrive. 

Designed to deliver the classic "D-style" Overdrive Special sounds, The Dude V2 captures tones reminiscent of legends like Robben Ford and Larry Carlton. Covering everything from smooth jazz to scorching gain, this pedal was inspired by a Dumble amplifier owned by Keith Urban. The Dude V2 encapsulates every nuance of this legendary amp, offering musicians the chance to experience its renowned sonic characteristics in a compact pedal format.
