Schecter Guitars
By the late 1970s Michael Schecter’s humble workshop in Van Nuys California was making some 400 different guitars parts and had grown into a brand that musicians turned to for exceptional quality and craftsmanship. In 1979 Schecter made their first fully assembled electric guitar, which at the time was only available to a small number of retailers across the US, now nearly 50 years later Schecter has grown into a renowned global brand.
This strong foundation has propelled Schecter into becoming one of today’s most influential and innovative guitar manufacturers. With their keen eye for unique aesthetics and exceptional sound quality, they’ve attracted a star-studded lineup of artists, both legendary and modern. This roster includes electric guitar icons like Mark Knopfler, Pete Townshend, Ritchie Blackmore, Robert Smith, and Simon Gallup from The Cure, as well as contemporary talents like Synyster Gates, Nick Johnston, Aaron Marshall, Machine Gun Kelly, and many more renowned endorsers.
Schecter Guitars have earned a reputation for making instruments tailored specifically for metal and rock musicians, but the company has also broadened its offerings to encompass a variety of genres through its ever-expanding range. From the Omen Elite that oozes modern flare and powerful tones all at an affordable price point to the Avenger Exotic with its unique body shape and classy ’78 humbuckers making them an extraordinarily versatile instrument.
Schecter has always been about unleashing creativity and making guitars that demand attention, all with premium spec and massive variation to pick from. For the guitarist who wants to make a statement, there is no better brand than Schecter.
