Our Click and Collect service is available at our Guildford store from 10am - 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 11am - 5pm on Sunday. You can either choose click and collect as your delivery option online or, during store opening hours, call our sales team at 01483 456777 to place a 10% deposit.
If you have placed your order online, you will receive a confirmation email of your order and a separate follow-up text or email to confirm when your item is ready for collection.
Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.
Please be aware that, unless you have paid a deposit to reserve the item, it will continue to be free, both online and in-store, for another customer to buy. Therefore we would advise you to place a 10% deposit by either using the on-line click and collect service or calling us 01483 456777.

Marrying a combination of analogue circuitry, high-powered digital DSP and even old-school valve technology the Vox VT40X truly offers you a best-of-both-worlds’ guitar amplifier! Small enough for home practice and just about loud enough for a small stage the VT40X can be used and enjoyed by electric guitar players of all abilities, especially thanks to its affordable price point.
Its sealed cabinet in conjunction with its unique bass-reflex design ensures that although small in size, this amplifier provides powerful lows and a natural and responsive tone that resembles amps of a much larger design. Valve, Analogue and Digital
Built around a genuine 12AX7 equipped tube preamp section the Vox VT40X offers players the genuine warmth, dynamic response, compression, feel and articulation that can only be found on genuine valve amplifiers. Marrying this traditional circuitry with a modern high-powered digital modelling engine gives users ultimate versatility, flexibility and control.
This hybrid circuitry also offers a few unique tonal opportunities not found on other amps. This includes a 1 button bias switch on the front panel which sets how hard you are hitting the preamp valve. In cool mode you get less gain and a more rounded tone, switch it to hot mode and you get a bit more output with a bit more punch. You also have the ability to switch between the tone of a class A or class A/B output for an even wider range of tonal options.

Utilising upgraded modern high-powered DSP the Vox VT40X is a cut above the previous incarnation of the Vox Valvetronix range of modelling amplifiers. With improved sample rates and enhanced sound quality, the VT40X brings you even closer to the real thing! No stone was left unturned in the development design of these amps to bring you the most natural feeling, high-quality digital tube-amp emulations available.

No extra software is required just plug in and get playing straight out of the box. With every style of guitar amp covered from sparking American voiced cleans to mid-focused British crunch, of course, the Legendry Vox AC30 and even tight modern high-gain metal, there is something for everyone. 12 analogue voiced high-quality effects can be added with the click of a button.
For Additional creativity the Vox VT40X can be used in conjunction with the Vox Tone Room editor software. Here you can save up to three ‘User Amps’ on the included Tone Room Editor software which can then be saved onto the amplifier for future recall. There are an additional 9 available amp emulations to choose from as well as near-unlimited tweakable parameters to fine-tune your signature sound.
