Enhanced Browser:

All patches, samples, and loops are centralized in the new Browser, making it easier to find the perfect sound. The Browser allows for filtering by name, type, categories, and tags. You can type what you’re looking for, and the Browser will suggest relevant sounds. The Category and Tag buttons help further refine your search, giving you quick access to the right sounds. This system not only includes all soundbanks and Reason Studios devices but also all Sound Packs, allowing you to explore over 20 years of sound design. Plus, any content not tagged by Reason Studios can be tagged by you, providing a highly customizable experience.

Sequencer Upgrade:

The sequencer in Reason 13 has been split into two sections, with the new Edit Area allowing for detailed editing without losing your place in the arrangement. This makes it easier to dive deep into the specifics of your music while maintaining an overview of the entire project. Several workflow improvements, including better zooming, layout changes, and easy access to editing features, make the upgraded sequencer a powerful tool for music production. These enhancements ensure that creating complex arrangements and fine-tuning your tracks is more intuitive and efficient than ever before.

Polytone Dual-Layer Synthesizer:

Polytone is a synth-lover’s dream, inspired by vintage hardware but designed with modern capabilities. This dual-layer synthesizer can recreate warm analogue sounds and allows for stacking or morphing layers to create rich, evolving tones. Polytone's design provides extensive possibilities for sound design, from fat, lush textures to intricate, evolving soundscapes. Its ability to blend layers offers musicians a powerful tool for crafting unique sounds, making it an essential addition to any producer’s arsenal.

Reason Rack Plugin:

Bring the Rack to your favorite DAW as a VST3, AU, or AAX plugin, or use Reason as standalone music making software. Take the best patches from Reason into Ableton Live, add a rack of instruments to Pro Tools, or expand your channel strips in Logic. However you make music, the Rack’s there for you.
