Who are Soloking guitars?

Soloking is an up-and-coming guitar maker who build high-performance instruments for modern players. Founded in 2015, their goal is to simply offer better sound, feel, and aesthetics to guitarists on a budget. In their own words, that means 'custom shop quality with affordable prices'.

A bold statement, right? Naturally, we couldn't resist. We're proud to be Soloking's exclusive European retailer, stocking a selection of beautiful Andertons-spec instruments. That means Roasted Maple necks, Wilkinson hardware, contoured bodies, Alan Entwistle pickups, and more - well below the £500 mark. Let's take a closer look at the range.

Soloking MS-1

The MS-1 is Soloking's modern take on the S-style double-cut guitar, putting great-feeling playability and sonic versatility first. Enjoy ergonomic body contours, a carved neck heel joint for supreme upper-fret access, and do-it-all pickups that are great for plenty of styles. And let's be honest, it looks the part too. The MS-1 has two versions:

  • The MS-1 Classic featuring a humbucker with coil tap and two singlecoil pickups
  • The MS-1 Custom featuring dual humbuckers with coil tap
  • The MS-1 Artisan combines classic looks with stunning binding, H/S/S pickups, and a Roasted Flamed Maple neck

Soloking MT-1

The MT-1 is a T-style single-cut guitar supercharged with Soloking's contemporary style. The MT-1 perfectly balances modern precision with a touch of old-school mojo, matching the powerful sound of coil-tappable Alan Entwistle humbuckers with a timeless body shape and accessible satin neck. Shred, riff, and groove to your heart's content.

  • The MT-1 Custom combines an intense carved Flamed Maple top with a 2-point trem and H/H pickups
  • The MT-1 Modern provides the same H/H config & hardware, instead decorated with striking flat finishes
  • The MT-1 Deluxe HT is an all-out riff machine with hotter pickups and a sturdy hardtail design
  • The MT-1 Artisan opts for a classic T-style config with a Roasted Flamed Maple neck

Soloking S Series

Soloking's line-up also features some striking offset models. If you're looking for something a little different, these alternative shapes are simultaneously ergonomic and packed with attitude, boasting the same high-level construction & specs as the rest of their range. Here's a breakdown of the S Series models:

  • The SJT200 boasts chunky tones courtesy of dual Neodymium humbuckers & ultra-comfy curves
  • The S408 takes the curves to another level, plus a punchy H/S pickup config and an all-Rosewood neck

Soloking MJ-1

The MJ-1 is a modern bass guitar that fuses the high-performance elements of their electric guitar line-up with classic bass designs of decades past. The result? A punchy bassline machine that's overflowing with attitude, with fat-sounding custom-wound humbuckers and a curvy design that begs to be played.
