What's the difference between QSC CP8 & CP12 speakers?

CP12s are fitted with 12" speakers, offering slightly more headroom and low-end than their CP8 counterparts. This makes them a stronger choice for larger venues.

The most obvious difference between the CP12 and the CP8s is the size of the woofer. This often translates into more low end, however there are some more subtle differences between the two speakers. The CP12 feature a 75-degree angle of nominal coverage angle, as opposed to 90 degrees in the CP8s, offering a tighter and more accurate coverage of sound, making it easier to predict how it will react in a room. The CP12s also feature slightly larger headroom, allowing you to play louder without as much risk of compression or distortion. All of this make the CP12 a stronger choice for large venues.
