Body & neck
The combination of the maple top and back with mahogany sides provides tonal clarity and extraordinary resonance, with figured maple and a striking finish to deliver some true 'wow' factor.
Enjoy smooth, comfortable playability with a one-piece mahogany neck, complemented by a rosewood fretboard ensuring deep, resonant bass & low-mid projection.
Hardware & electronics
The LR Baggs/PRS Piezo System comes standard, giving you the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric guitar tones in one instrument. There are two output jacks on the Hollowbody II Piezo, so you can plug into your favorite electric guitar or acoustic guitar amp or DI into a soundboard. By utilizing the separate blend control, the tone of the Hollowbody II Piezo's 58/15 LT pickups can also be combined with acoustic sounds through a single output.
This model also boasts Phase III 'Wing' design non-locking tuners; lighter than their metal predecessors, these tuners subtract less energy from the vibrating strings, helping the guitar resonate longer and more musically. Not to mention the extra touch of beautiful detail!
