Over 185 years, Martin's original and most discernible models have largely remained intact and unchanged, demonstrating the winning formula that they established almost two centuries ago. For 2025, they’ve introduced a sweeping wave of updates to elevate the sound, playability, and aesthetics of these cornerstone guitars, from Golden Era bracing to subtle neck & heel improvements.
A Perfectly Balanced Acoustic Guitar

The Martin OM-28 is one of the most iconic models in Martin’s line-up, with deep bass, rich overtones, and clear trebles that suit any playing style. Built with a solid Spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the OM-28 features a longer 25.4" scale length, offering increased string tension, creating slightly brighter tones and enhanced projection and sustain.
Golden Era Design
The 000-14 Fret body features Martin's Golden Era (GE) scalloped X bracing, giving the OM-28 richly enhanced sustain and a robust structure that'll last a lifetime. Enjoy a more comfortable playing experience with the modernised GE bridge, boasting smoother curves and subtler edges. A longer diamond neck transition, a thinner fingerboard with beveled edges, and a sleeker vintage heel are the cherries on top, offering subtle aesthetic enhancements without taking away from the OM-28’s vintage roots.
