If you have placed your order online, you will receive a confirmation email of your order and a separate follow-up text or email to confirm when your item is ready for collection.
Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

The Epiphone 1961 Les Paul SG Standard forms part of the "Inspired by Gibson" range and was developed in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop. It represents Epiphone's most immersive recreation to date and serves up a host of vintage-inspired features in one of the most recognisable designs of all time. The 1961 Les Paul SG Standard is a faithful recreation of the legendary original SG, and pays tribute to the now iconic solid body guitar. In 1961, sales of the original Les Paul had begun to wane, so it was replaced by an all-new design that is known today as the SG or “solid guitar.”

Loaded with a pair of Gibson BurstBucker 2 and 3 pickups, the 1961 Les Paul SG is a highly spec'd tonal powerhouse. Whether you're jamming out some crunchy rock riffs or some silky-smooth lead lines, the 1961 Les Paul SG has plenty of tones on tap to suit a variety of genres. Featuring a two-piece solid Mahogany, double-cutaway body with Custom Shop Historic bevels, the Les Paul SG lives up to its name as the ultimate solid guitar. A one-piece Mahogany, fast-playing SlimTaper™ C-shaped neck ensures a comfortable playability and pays homage to the legendary early Les Paul SG models.
The 1961 Les Paul SG also boasts plenty of premium hardware including CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, a Graph Tech nut, and Switchcraft output jack and toggle switch. If that wasn't enough, the Les Paul SG is presented in a classy, vintage-style hardshell case so it's ready to hit the road when you are! "For those about to rock..." well you get the idea!
