Golden Age Project
Golden Age Project
Golden Age Projects produce high quality studio outboard gear for musicians that want to build up their studio with great sounding vintage style gear, but don't want to shell out for the expensive and unreliable original models.
Golden Age began in a garage in 2005 when founder Bo Medin realised he could create high quality, classic sounding gear at a price point that more studio owners could afford.
Driven by this philosophy he started selling replicas of the classic RCA 77 microphone, recreating it’s grand sound to a much less expensive price. However, the real break for Golden Age Project happened in 2006 with the PRE-73 mic preamp. Soon after it’s release this red outboard gear started to get some serious recognition by the industry.
Golden Age now offer a wide range of Preamps, compressors, EQs and microphones that continue the same ethos and commitment to affordable pro gear.
