Fender Player II Series Guitars & Basses

The Player II continues Fender's long-standing legacy of putting affordable pro-level electric guitars and basses in the hands of players of all abilities. Built with the ‘new kind of player’ in mind, the Player II series takes everything that was successful from the original Player series and revamps the rest with an assortment of contemporary and vintage-inspired upgrades. From rolled fingerboard edges, the return of Rosewood fingerboards, upgraded pickups, vintage-styled tuners and an array of vintage-inspired colours the Fender Player II has something for everyone.  

On top of all that, you now have the option to pick between Alder, Chambered Ash and Chambered Mahogany bodies on the Player II Strats and Teles depending on the finish option. The Jaguar and Jazzmaster Player II now come with authentic-sounding Alnico Single-Coil Pickups in addition to upgraded Mustang saddles for maximum playability.

Not forgetting the basses, the Player II Precision Bass, Jazz Bass and Mustang PJ Bass have received the same high-quality revamp as their 6-string counterparts. With the choice between Maple or Rosewood fingerboards with rolled fingerboard edges as well as a plethora of new finish choices, these basses are built with versatility, performance and playability in mind.
