ESP Snapper Guitars
ESP Snapper Guitars
Forget your Fishman pickups and multi-scale fingerboards for a second. The Snapper is all about old school flair from a company that has its roots in ‘70s vintage style. This guitar range epitomises everything great from the Japanese company.
Snapper guitars can vary in woods, from solid swamp ash to alder bodies. The standard neck and fretboard pick is made of a bright maple embedded with 22 jumbo frets. Its bolt-on construction echoes more retro design aspect.
Hardware here consists of either a locking Floyd Rose tremolo or ESP-made classic tremolo. Whatever model you pick, you’re going to get classic rock-inspired pickups in an H-S-S configuration. The humbucker Custom Lap pickup is lower on output but sings under high gain and crunches hard in rhythm. The two single coil CLs provide more dynamism for a great variety of tones.
