Brian May Guitars
It’s a well known story that Brian May built his own guitar out of a 200-year-old wardrobe and that guitar was called the Red Special. It was used on every single Queen album that came out!
Brian May Guitars began out of necessity in 2004 after Brian May had had a signature model made by both Guild Guitars and Burns UK. He decided to take the design into his own hands and worked with guitar builder Barry Moorhouse and his long-time guitar tech Pete Malandrone. This was done so that you could pick up your very own Red Special and get those Queen tones into your hands without much fuss.
The range has since been expanded to include the Red Special in other colours as well as a Ukulele, Bass and Acoustic version of his famous guitar.
