Headless Bass Guitars
Headless Bass Guitars
To the surprise of some, headless bass guitars have actually been around since the '80s. Pioneered by Steinberger, these instruments were quickly accepted by mainstream artists who adored their cutting-edge "headless" (no headstock) designs and comfortable, undersized bodies. Unfortunately, headless basses somewhat fell out of fashion by the end of that decade. But with the likes of Strandberg and Kiesel innovating guitars with a similar design philosophy in recent years, headless bass guitars are back in a big way!
