One Control

It's not uncommon to see guitarists with large pedalboards these days, often employing 10 or more effects pedals that can provide a wide tonal palette. However, it's difficult to make use of that many stompboxes without having a dedicated switching system that can simplify your setup. If you don't have one of these, you'll have to learn how to tap dance!

One Control are specialists when it comes to pedal switchers/loopers. These ingenious devices act like a central hub or "brain" for your pedalboard; boasting various send/return 'loops' that allow you to connect your individual pedals. By plugging most (or all) of your effects into a switcher, you can program the device to turn a number of your pedals on/off with just a single click! Some of One Control's more sophisticated switchers even have MIDI capabilities, letting you change presets or send commands to your MIDI-enabled digital pedals. But even their smaller loopers, like the Iguana and Xenagama, have added functionality; sporting DC power outputs that eliminate the need for a separate pedal power supply — saving space and money!

Aside from switchers, One Control also make their own effects — the BJF Series. These mini pedals are designed by Bjorn Juhl, a legend within the stompbox sphere who's known for his work with Mad Professor, Barefoot FX and his own company, BJFE. These not only sound great, but save precious pedalboard real-estate too!
