Epiphone SG Special Guitars

The SG Special has always been a fan favourite thanks to its unique look and awesomely raw-sounding P-90 pickups. Epiphone are bringing all the Gibson flair with a much more accessible price tag.

P-90 pickups are single coil in design, but act as a bridge between the dynamism of ‘regular’ single coil pickups and fatter-sounding humbuckers. Aggressive, high output and soaring sounds for those classic rock tones.

You’ll find contemporary construction, hardware appointments and improved pickups aplenty here. The SG Special is equipped with a ‘60s SlimTaper neck and an Indian laurel fingerboard for super fast playability. Hardware includes a Graph Tech nut and Locktone ABR bridge for unrivalled tuning stability.
