Acid House, Techno, Hardstep, Gabba and many other dance genres all have a few sounds in common, good beats and great bass. Behringer’s RD-9 and TD-3 gives you hands on direct control for their take on these classic sounds and workflows. The TD-3’s sequencer follows the classic workflow of similar sequencers which can be tricky to program, Behringer have a visual editor, so if you’d rather use your mouse, you can edit save and recall patches easily into the machine.

This bundle has everything you need, a midi cable to sync the two machines together and audio cables so you just have to plug them up to your mixer, amp or interface and get cracking, a small tip from us, the RD-9 has a return socket on the back, this is mainly for routing one of the drums outputs into an effects unit and back in so everything still comes out the master input, you can plug the audio output of the TD-3 into there and just plug your headphones into the RD-9 and have a silent rave!

Key Features:

• Individual outputs:
  The RD-9 contains 10 independent outputs, 1 for each of its voices. If using a mixer this does make mixing and multi tracking easier, but importantly the unit works amazingly with effects pedals, even a delay on the snare, reverb on the hi hats and chorus on the clap significantly expands your colour output.
• Inbuilt effects:
  The RD-9 contains a built-in wave Designer which is similar to a compressor in terms of effect, this can bring some great punch to your beats and rhythms, as well as a analogue filter which is fantastic for live performance. The TD-3 contains a built in distortion unit that’s modelled after a classic distortion circuit, this can instantly change your warm and punchy bass to a growling monster.
• Analogue:
  Both units are fully analogue, drums and bass are both warm and thunderous, the filters can be made to have a satisfying squelch or scream yet still remain pleasant to the ear.
